Iowa coach Lisa Bluder said sophomore Theairra Taylor was recovering from her third ACL surgery in three years.
Taylor, who took a redshirt last season, is starting to do some full court drills but has not started scrimmaging. She won’t participate in the Game Time League, or play during the teams’ August trip to Europe.
“She heals so fast, you’re always thinking of the next step,” Bluder said. “But we’re going really slowly with her this time.”
Bluder anticipated that Taylor should be ready to start team workouts in October.
“She is very excited about the opportunity to return,” Bluder said.
