[ 0 ] June 12, 2013 |

The Hawkeyes’ Aug. 31 opener against Northern Illinois will kick off at 2:30 p.m. The next week’s game against Missouri State will begin at 11 a.m.

Missouri State is coached by former UNI player and coach Terry Allen.

The Bears averaged just 13 points and 99.3 rushing yards in 2012, while posting a 3-8 record. Northern Iowa beat Missouri State 38-13.
