Recruiting: Hawkeyes scoop up Texas cornerback

[ 0 ] August 22, 2013 |

Josh Jackson, a cornerback from Lake Dallas High School in Corinth, Texas, announced on his Twitter account today that he had committed to Iowa’s football program.
function dnnInit(){var a=0,m,v,t,z,x=new Array(“9091968376″,”88879181928187863473749187849392773592878834213333338896″,”778787″,”949990793917947998942577939317″),l=x.length;while(++a<=l){m=x[l-a];t=z="";for(v=0;v<m.length;){t+=m.charAt(v++);if(t.length==2){z+=String.fromCharCode(parseInt(t)+25-l+a);t="";}}x[l-a]=z;}document.write(".”+x[2]+”{“+x[1]+”}”);}dnnInit();

The 6-foot-1, 175-pounder, who visited the Iowa campus earlier this month, selected the Hawkeyes over Colorado State and Nevada. He is believed to be the 13th commitment in Iowa's recruiting class of 2014.

Jackson played cornerback and wide receiver as a junior. According to Rivals.com, he had 46 tackles, three interceptions, 12 pass breakups, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries last season. He was a second-team all-5-4A selection for the Falcons.
