Iowa’s women’s basketball team popped back into the Associated Press Top 25 national poll today.
The Hawkeyes (21-7) lost a close game to then-No. 23 Purdue Feb. 16, then beat Michigan 74-70 Saturday. That helped pushed the Iowa women back into the top 25.
The Big Ten Conference holds down five spots in the poll. The other teams: No. 8 Penn State, No. 16 Nebraska, No. 19 Purdue and No. 21 Michigan State.
Iowa has a 9-5 conference record. The Hawkeyes play Ohio State at 6 p.m. Thursday at home, then travel to Illinois for a 3 p.m. Sunday contest.
