Iowa’s Jake Yacinich stole home against Michigan on Friday at the Big Ten Tournament.
Yacinich, a Dowling Catholic alum, was the lead runner on a double-steal attempt. Michigan threw to second base and had the shortstop cut it off and throw home. Yacinich made a nifty slide to avoid the catcher’s tag.
Michigan beat Iowa 7-1 to eliminate the Hawkeyes. Iowa finished the season with a 30-23 record.
